Thanks to RAGC for the “Francisco Guitián Ojea” Award to our research in oncology. In this project we have found two molecules with senotherapeutic activity and with potential applicability to avoid the side effects of radiotherapy and chemotherapy in the skin of oncological patients. The findings are under patent protection (PCT/ES2020/070269 April 27, 2020). This work has been development by Marina Rodríguez Candela Mateos and Marta Varela Eirín in collaboration with other researchers of CellCOM group and under the supervision of Benigno Acea and María Mayán.
